Many peoples think that Sarawak, Sabah and Singapore joined Malaysia in 1963 to get independent and free from colonization of British. Even I know Sarawak never joined Malaysia, but I still always using the sentence of “Sarawak joined Malaysia” and even wrote a post of If Sarawak did not join Malaysia because influenced by peoples( everyone around me always saying that “Sarawak joined Malaysia” ).
Now I would like to tell everyone : “SARAWAK NEVER JOINED MALAYSIA!” If we do study history about “Formation of Malaysia” clearly, then we will know the the truth. Sarawak, Sabah and Singapore actually teamed up with Federation of Malaya to form Federation of Malaysia(Malaysia of today). Is “teamed up” to form Malaysia, not joined Malaysia that’s already exist, do not misunderstand it. Before Sarawak,Sabah and Singapore teamed up with Malaya to form Malaysia, there was no Malaysia yet.
should be:
Sarawak+Sabah+Singapore+Malaya=Malaysia (1963)
not:
Sarawak+Sabah+Malaysia(before 1963)= Malaysia( after 1963)

we are sort of brainwashed to 'know' that sarawak and sabah actually JOINED malaysia in 1963........ they had even reduced the contents of the 18/20 points agreement in the history text book to a mere 1/3 of a page.. they do not want us to know.. they want us to forget.. they want us to look at it lightly..
