Recently there are many shopping malls keep being developed in Kuching, seems like a trend in Kuching. There are not much (not at all) new shopping mall developed in Kuching before The Spring and Boulevard mall born in Kuching.
Another more shopping mall born in Kuching which is believed would be the largest shopping mall in Kuching (so far) called CityOne Megamall and it has total gross floor area of 68,000sq meters. The CityOne Megamall is developed by Kenbest Sdn Bhd and located at corner of Jalan Song and Jalan Tun Jugah.
The CityOne Megamall is anchored by a major departmental store, a 10-screen cinemas by Golden Screen Cinema, and 500 retail outlet offering from fashion to entertainment.
So far the CityOne Shopping Mall only partly open, which is for Metrojaya Only. Believed need few months to be fully opened and function-able.
